Crystal Bowersox’s Farmer’s Daughter: A Dog, A Rant, and A Typo

American Idol runner-up Crystal Bowersox's new CD comes out December 14, 2010. I think cover looks cool even though the pit bull is not her dog.  But I wonder if Crystal's recent Twitter rant about her record label has anything to do with the missing apostrophe in "Farmers Daughter" (above).   She wrote,  "Just frustrated with the politics of the industry. not just jive just disappointing how the industry has changed. every1s hands are tied."

If you go to Amazon an pre-order the CD, you'll see this grammatically correct image…

Crystal later tweeted an apology for dissing her label.  Read full story here.

I think its curious too. But I also know I make typos all the time so I empathize with whoever put the CD cover out before catching it. I just wonder if its more valuable, like an upside down stamp if you could actually find a Farmers Daughter CD. That would be exciting.
