great photo! oh, how I adore Irish Wolfhounds and Scottish Deerhounds………love that type of soulful wiry face on any breed or mix! you know, Moira, when I first saw Tyler, I thought he might also have a bit of rough-coat Jack Russell in him, (based on that intent ready-to-pounce look on his gorgeous face in one shot)…..and so, that makes him a wiry-faced dear-to-my-heart devil dog :>)))

Hes definitely got some terrier in him. I have thought Jack Russell, too. Like maybe that is where his patches of white comes from. He likes to put his nose to the ground and sniff when we walk so I think he has some hound in him too. Maybe a Irish Wolfhound/Jack Russell mix — a total dreamboat.
