  • St. Patrick’s Day Vintage Dog Art T-Shirts & Greeting Cards

    With a name like Moira McLaughlin it’s never too early to gear up for St. Patrick’s Day. Here are some new fun items I just made to help you celebrate this year. I found this vintage photograph of Irish worker Terry McKune, circa 1915-1920, and his little dog in the Library of Congress archives. Little is known about the man or the photo, but I simply love it!

    A package of 10 St. Patrick’s Day greeting cards (above). Inside reads, “Happy St. Patrick’s Day!” in an emerald green Celtic font.

    I think it came out cool on T-shirts too:

  • Matchbox Label T-shirts

    Hello, my name is Moira and I’m a phillumenist.

    phil·lu·men·ist \fi-_lü-m_-nist\ n. One who collects matchbooks or matchbox labels.

    It happened for me almost immediately when I discovered Jane McDevitt’s collection of Eastern European mid-century matchbox labels on Flickr. From there, I moved on to ebay where I bought eight dog-themed labels from a Dutch dealer named Stampede. Now, I’m shouting it out to the world and I don’t care who hears. I love matchbox labels!

  • Boxer Gifts

    Boxers rank number 7 as the most popular dog breed in the U.S. My mother grew up with a Boxer named Lance. Legend has it that Lance bonded immediately with my father when he came calling and helped pave the way for their courtship. I have always had a fondness for Boxers.
