Wow! There are a lot of entries this year!
You have two pieces marked as 52. Not a big deal if voters read the artists names but confusing. Thanks!
Thank you, Lois. I fixed it. Leave it to the trusty eagle-eyed librarian. So appreciate you catching that.
Moira – There are an UNBELIEVABLE amount of amazing entries! I had to choose #1 Red Ball because it reminds me SO MUCH of Cowboy and I think it would look amazing on a wine bottle. But there were so many others I wanted to vote for – #18 so gorgeous and creative, #25 (love greyhounds :0) and #88 beautiful expression and sentiment in that painting. Good luck with a very tough decision!
There are two #27’s too.
I just fixed it. Thank you, Gwendolyn.
#89
WOW.So many great entries.
Seriously! Can you see why I have been freaking out?!
Wow – these are so beautiful!!!
I vote for #62 – it’s got soul!!
These are great. I’ve definitely got my favorites. So fun!
Utterly amazing. Who knew? Congratulations on an excellent contest Moira!
My Favorite #70. It’s unique, very creative and original.
Thanks, Matthew! I am thrilled at the response. Please help spread the word. And thank you for entering.
I know! I am in awe!

I agree on #70 … but it was soo hard to pick just one!
I Vote for 98. by Chelsea Fedigan and her painting of Bad Lucy <3 It’s simply adorable.
#31 (“Guilty?!” by K.C. Kennedy) gets my vote because the not-so-specific breed of a dog, even possibly a mutt, may have wider appeal to a wine drinker. If one drinker doesn’t like a Boston Terrier, Greyhound, Rhodesian Ridgeback or whatever breed of dog, then you’ve lost them in buying your bottle of wine simply because tbe shopper prefers a Golden Retriever. But #31 is a wide-eyed (visually jumping out at shoppers) and colorfully-displayed choice (great colors for a label). It could be a pup, or a small older dog, or a medium-size dog. This dog is cute without being burdened with the “too-cute” factor. And it’s likely this artist, who I don’t know, could design similar non-distinct breeds or non-breeds of dogs, but so close to many breeds, that a wider spectrum of wine shoppers might try the wine in various whites, reds or varietals if the wines are successful for being good wines with the additional bonus of having great labels.
Hi Greg – thank you for sharing your thought process. I think it is interesting to hear what people respond to and why — like a wine label focus group. I wonder if wineries do that?
I vote for
#25 —– look again its the Best !!
I vote for #38 by Jennifer Keller! It is awesome!
I vote for #38 by Jen Keller, I love it!
#38
#76 psycho joe works for me!!
#33 absolutely the best!
#69 for sure!! (artist, Kathryn Steffen). The title, Mutty Waters, is so clever and very appropriate for the theme “Naughty Dog”.
#69 Classic name, classic painting.
sorry – you’re all wrong. It’s # 76 by a mile. GO PSYCHO JOE!!!
All are great! But really Love number 168, naughty Ruby.
Thanks for voting and sharing your thoughts, Lindsay : )
Meant 68
Numbers 1 and 66 would translate beautifully onto wine labels. Also note the clever touch in #79, which incorporates last year’s wine label.
# 51 – GREAT job Kait!
#38!
Voted for number 45. Thought it fitted theme and type of wine best. Also strongly influenced by Minnie whose personality and web site-minniethemagnificent.com-are well known to you.
Congrats to you on quantity and quality you attracted; latter better than last year’s which were also great. I’d say this even if I weren’t your dad-but I’m so glad I am
Hi Dad – Thanks for voting and sharing your thought process. I was thinking how this whole thing started when I made you the wine label tissue box holder you put on your desk in your corner office…and you still have it. xo, M
I vote for #18 by Dean Russo
