Two weeks ago, when I ran the T-shirt contest in honor of my blog’s one year anniversary, I was pleasantly surprised that someone I didn’t know won, because A.) It’s always nice to get new readers to introduce themselves, and B.) it added to my credibility that the contest wasn’t rigged. But upon exchanging emails with Suzzie (aka Susan), the winner, I realized I did know her, or at least I knew of her by her awesome animal T-shirt website Menagerie Mayhem.
Susan, a zoologist, lives with 5 dogs, 7 parrots, 4 turtles, and fresh and saltwater fish. When not taking care of her menagerie, she creates t-shirts that reflect her passion for animals. I’ve always admired her site for the depth of choices and lovely designs. Above is the T-shirt Susan chose from my website, "The Dog" in yellow, which I am proud to say she is taking with her on vacation to Mexico. And below are some of my favorite dog t-shirts from Menagerie Mayhem. I picked some breeds I’ve never featured here, since Susan isn’t swayed by popularity and designs for them all.
