Dog Breed Ornaments by Mary Ann Varanelli

Sheltie

Day 10 of my gift guide was a nice surprise.  I wanted to feature ornaments, but since interesting, artistic, dog-centric ornaments are harder to find than you might think, I was about to give up.   So when Mary Ann Varanelli sent me these photos, I looked no further.  Each ornament is made of hand dyed wool, felted for softness and durability, with glass bead eyes and  eco-friendly fiberfill stuffing.  Super sweet works of Christmas dog art for your tree.

these are so adorable! it’s too bad things like these never have mutt variations. :p i always feel a little left out of the mug/keychain/ornament/all other novelty dog items because, understandably though, they’re always for purebreds…

We are 2 Maltese dogs. These ornaments are absolutely wonderful. Two Paws Up! Also, WendyB has a point about the mutt variations. We need to do something out there in the doggy world about that! We have a website where we make fun and whimsical things to raise money and awareness for rescue dogs, because LoLLy is a rescue. Love, Your PaLs, LuLu and LoLLy! http://www.luluandlolly.com
