Wildly popular, Seattle based artist, Ken Bailey, decided early on to create his own style. It took some time and didn’t preclude finding inspiration in ancient myths and cave paintings, but today a Bailey is undeniably a Bailey. To purchase on of his bold, humorous posters starring your breed visit www.allposters.com. To order a limited edition print or commission an original contact Ken Bailey.

David Terry’s Happy Zen Dog
David Terry’s artwork has been described as possessing a “world view – a coherent thematic approach buried in the Southern gothic sensibility of narrative, memory, and moral complexities.” But in a word, it’s simply wonderful! Rebecca Collins: Almost Famous
You know the saying, “Everyone is famous by 15 people on the Internet.” Rebecca and Dan Collins of Dallas, TX have managed to transcend their 15 people with a unique approach to dog art. Yes, they started out “Warholizing” dogs in 1998, but now they offer several unique styles that set them apart from the ubiquitous Photoshop filter look. My favorite is Rebecca’s Painterly Style in which she incorporates hand drawn lines and pixel painting to create true originals. To memorialize your pet with an Artpaw painting visit www.artpaw.com

Every Dog is a Dream Come True
Seaside Doxie by Moira McLaughlin, 2006Welcome to my blog where I'll feature cool contemporary dog art from around the world. Naturally, I'll start with my art. I create photo and paper collages of dogs. I'm inspired by the individuality of every pet and the joyful photos owners take of them. I believe that every dog is a dream come true. How else do you explain the fact that every owner thinks they have the best dog in the world? So many perfect matches remind us every day that if we let the universe do it's job, it gets it right. It gets it perfect.
Here is a collage of my Dachshund, Darby. He's the one who started it all. To see more of my artwork visit my Dream Dogs Art Store.
