  • Angie Ketelhut: Her Eyes Have It

    Pagepetspeople

Dog artists know you can’t capture a dog’s true spirit unless you get the eyes right. Painter Angie Ketelhut sets the bar higher, she gets the owner’s eyes right.   Memorialize the mutual adoration of your family with a Pets-N-People portrait from Art by Angie.

  • Linda O’Neill: Doggie Light + Magic

    Violet4

Combine a background painting digital art for Lucasfilm and the love of a rescue dog named Abby and you get enchanting dog art by Linda O’Neill. Her work is collected nationwide and was recently commissioned by the Guide Dogs for the Blind and the National Greyhound Protection League. To order a portrait of your pet from one of the top dog artists in the country visit Linda’s Abby Creek Studios.

  • David Terry’s Happy Zen Dog

    Zendog4

David Terry’s artwork has been described as possessing a “world view – a coherent thematic approach buried in the Southern gothic sensibility of narrative, memory, and moral complexities.” But in a word, it’s simply wonderful! To commission a piece or chose one of his prints visit www.dogartdealer.com.

  • Rebecca Collins: Almost Famous

    Polly4

You know the saying, “Everyone is famous by 15 people on the Internet.” Rebecca and Dan Collins of Dallas, TX have managed to transcend their 15 people with a unique approach to dog art. Yes, they started out “Warholizing” dogs in 1998, but now they offer several unique styles that set them apart from the ubiquitous Photoshop filter look. My favorite is Rebecca’s Painterly Style in which she incorporates hand drawn lines and pixel painting to create true originals. To memorialize your pet with an Artpaw painting visit www.artpaw.com

  • Every Dog is a Dream Come True

Seaside Doxie by Moira McLaughlin, 2006

Welcome to my blog where I'll feature cool contemporary dog art from around the world.  Naturally, I'll start with my art. I create photo and paper collages of dogs. I'm inspired by the individuality of every pet and the joyful photos owners take of them. I believe that every dog is a dream come true. How else do you explain the fact that every owner thinks they have the best dog in the world? So many perfect matches remind us every day that if we let the universe do it's job, it gets it right. It gets it perfect.

Here is a collage of my Dachshund, Darby.  He's the one who started it all.  To see more of my artwork visit my Dream Dogs Art Store.
