My Dogs by Eduardo Recife

There is an excellent profile of Brazilian collage artist and illustrator Eduardo Recife at Illustration Mundo. He shares his studio and his process and how his art is evolving.  I like this quote:

I’ve been working a lot outside the computer, with paint, scissors, glue and all sorts of mediums and pigments. Its impressive how the handmade works influence the digital work and the overall process of making decisions. There’s no CTRL+Z in real life.

I highly recommend the whole article.  Beautiful art and insight from a working artist.

this is a perfect example of how when an artist is “connected” they product a feeling of greatness in their art that you can feel. Even when it appears to be as simple as these

I totally agree. His other pieces are very complex and wonderful, but this one transcends them.
