I've been working on my own stuff. It's not going well. Struggling with color, composition, technique, and the doozy, grief.

These are wonderful! I love way they make me feel I could recognize these dogs in a crowd. I am so sorry for your sorrow and creative blocks. I am not a real artist, just an amateur but I am just now starting to break through a six month or longer block, it was ghastly. I feel for you, it will come back though, really.

Thanks for letting me know, Rebecca. It surprises you, no? I am totally fine. I think. But very very busy and distracted. Then, I spent the day looking at Darby photos and wishing there were more, while Tyler, who makes me so happy in new and different ways, slept under my bed in the other room. There is a place for both, the new love and the ongoing sadness. It is strange how they are compatible. But they each demands attention. Just like dogs, I guess.
