Happy Easter + Passover

I know I already posted this image last fall, but it is just too perfect for the Easter/Passover weekend, so it's back.  I originally saw it at the fabulous Nag on the Lake's blog who discovered it on eternallycool.net.

It's an Italian ad for OIPA,
the Organizzazione Internazionale Protezione Animali (the International
Organization for the Protection of Animals). Notice that there is only
human, Judas. The copy reads: "One of you betrays us 150,000 times
every year.”
I am assuming that is the number of dogs put down in Italy every year.

Wishing everyone a lovely holiday weekend.

P.S. I have been tracking all the Obama dog news at my other blog, The Obama Dog Blog.  Yesterday, I posted my theory that we have already been introduced to the new First Puppy.  I think it is Senator Kennedy's newest Portie pup named Cappy.  Read my investigative report here.  And brace yourselves, we might have a Kennedy back in the White House…soon!

My dogs say they prefer those “dogs playing poker” black velvet paintings. They have no taste though.

I often ask myself- “what would dog do?”
Yes many betrayals- women, children, the environment, all animals. And recently another betrayal of wolves too- We cant make room for 1000 wolves in this country? gotta shoot them?

Terry Tempest Williams wrote a wonderful essay on Jesus Coyote, skinned hide that she saw hanging on a fence, crucified.
something kind of funny that you might check out Moira, is NOM. National Organization for Marriage (anti gay). They have stolen a word as their acronym that is in grand internet use- means a little creature knoshing on a treat; the dog will nom on the cookie. How dare they steal this delightful term for their hateful purposes!
