Wet Dog (probably) by Banksy, 2007
Did you hear two of Banksy's presumed artworks from Palestine have been removed and are now for sale at Keszler Gallery in Southampton, NY? The asking price for Wet Dog is $420,000. Rachel Corbett of artnet writes about the controversy here and the gallery's defense of the removal here.
The Independent has images of the removal process, which supposedly occurred three years ago, not by the gallery owners. Banksy's authentication office, Pest Control, has not certified the works.
